digzyme Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Nao Watarai; hereinafter referred to as "digzyme") has joined the "COI-NEXT: A Carbon Cultivation Hub Challenging the Limits of Carbon Negativity" (Hub Project Leader: Masafumi Yonoida, Distinguished Professor at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology; hereinafter referred to as "the Hub"), a co-creation hub for new value through agricultural-industrial collaboration and industry-academia-government partnerships.

digzyme is tackling one of the research themes of the Hub, "Development of Material Production Technology through Carbon Farming," as a participating company. By combining the biomass handled by the Hub with the enzymes developed by digzyme, we aim to contribute to achieving carbon negativity through innovative material design and chemical production.

Through our activities at the Hub, digzyme will continue to strive toward the creation of a resource-circulating society.
